Guarantees

Your legal rights come first

By law, we must supply goods that conform to the contract. If they do not, you are entitled to the legal guarantee of conformity, free of charge, for a minimum of two years from delivery. Under Dutch law this entitlement lasts for as long as you may reasonably expect the goods to last, taking into account what we have told you about them and what they cost.

If the goods do not conform, you may choose between repair and replacement, free of charge and within a reasonable time. If repair or replacement is impossible, disproportionate, fails, or we do not carry it out within a reasonable time, you may ask for a price reduction or cancel the contract and get your money back.

Nothing on this page, in our terms, or in our commercial guarantee limits these rights.

Our 3-year commercial guarantee

In addition to your legal rights, we give a voluntary guarantee on raised garden beds and planter boxes for 3 years plus 21 days from the date of purchase, and 1 year on other items.

What it covers

Structural defects arising from defective material or workmanship.

What it does not cover

• Cosmetic changes that are natural to cedar: small cracks, silvering, knot holes and weathering.
• Liners, which wear with use and are treated as a consumable part.
• Damage from misuse, alteration, or failure to follow the assembly instructions.

What we will do

We will repair or replace the affected part, or refund you, at our option. To claim, email info@cedarplanters.nl with your order number and photographs.

Territory

This guarantee applies to purchases from cedarplanters.nl delivered in Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Denmark, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Poland, and is given by Cedar Planters Inc., 529 Great Lakes Boulevard, Suite 200, Oakville, Ontario L6L 6X9, Canada.
